Paramedic/EMT/First Aid Provider Training

First Aid Providers/EMT/Paramedics have jobs where they could be first or second or even third on scene, this leads to often a passing down of information, especially if the patient isn’t conscious or unable to communicate at the time. This, plus the fact patients can regain conscious or regain the ability to communicate if the situation stabilizes or improves, and that a patient may be in a state of shock or confusion leads to a very difficult environment for medical provider and the Individual with Autism.

This training aims to give you the medical provider the tools, techniques and knowledge to help those patients with Autism.

Coast Guard/Search and Rescue Training

Against traditional perception, some Individuals with Autism like to explore the outdoors, whether with caregiver/worker or alone. This puts Search and Rescue (S.A.R.) teams and services (like the Coast Guard) in a likelihood that they will have interactions with Individuals with Autism.

Our Coast Guard/Search and Rescue Training volunteers and staff tools to help Individuals with Autism, whether they are Lost, Injured, or in need of Rescuing.
